before I had to replace my hard drive I could embed videos directly from you tube (it gave you a couple of options ) now when I click "embed" only one option shows up and when I try to post I get this error message:

The Video Embed contains a link that does not appear to be an accepted video file but rather a regular url to a video page. Please enter a link to a file of the following types: avi, mpg, wmv, mov, or swf.

Ultra dog Mn walked me through it the first time I tried with the old hard drive. Any thoughts, thanks,Bill

It might be because you don't have flash player loaded or allowed. I think you need flash to get the link to copy.
I justed embedded a youtube video on tractor talk (unigue engines thread)and it worked fine.
Go to google and search for flash player and download it again. Then see if it works.

installed the latest version of adobr flash player, still no go. Thanks anyway for the suggestion.Bill

Another thought:
What browser are you using?
You might try downloading another one like Chrome, Internet Explorer or FireFox and try one of those. I usually am running all three at the same time but use different ones for different things and different sites.
