Vinyl tiles

I have some regular vinyl tiles to install not the grout type, just wondering if they can be installed with spacing & vinyl grout? I know the edges are different from grout-able type. Mine are Armstrong self sticking vinyl tiles. Thanks
 
Some of the Armstrong vinyl tiles have slightly rounded edges and are installed with spacers and grout. The tile "expert" recommended that I don't use grout on mine, due to being an old house and the floor less than perfect. I would think that the non-rounded edges of your tile would not work too good in a grouted installation. There are some real sharp tile guys on here, and hopefully they'll chime in.
 
I think there are vinyl tiles that look like cermanic, that you can add a grout line or butt together.

I have cermanic tiles on 4 floors in my house and cermanic tiles on one tub wall. If I ever had a choice of grout or no grout, I would go with no grout. I hate cleaning the grout.

I have two rental properties with cermanic on tub walls and floors. Again, I hate the cleaning they require. All new bathrooms I make have no tile on walls or floors. Solid vinyl floors and a solid fiberglass one piece tub/shower.

Vinyl tiles are just "peel and stick". No grout required, nor desired.
 
We use vinyl tile that have grout lines all the time. I don't know what kind you have. The ones we use can be cut with a tablesaw and are glued down. When the tile are rolled and the glue has set we run the grout lines , it makes a beautiful looking floor
