(quoted from post at 19:03:34 12/05/14) Nope, never wore a tie, but I do have one of those on a shelf around here somewhere.
I hope it in better shape than this one... I wore a tie once and was out of place as Junior Sample in a bikini at the beach - BR549.

I have had more then one of those over the years and freed up all of them. Looks like that one need a bath in gas then a good soaking in ATF

(quoted from post at 21:22:13 12/05/14) Dad always refered to ours as a old Ford jack ,, perhaps model t days or model a ,,
Wow really!
And thankx for the gas n ATF idea .. But I have lots of Marvel Mystery Oral and I'm coveting my ATF fur the diesel. :D
I know Ford made a jack of sorts for the old model Fords. it was made out of pipe and hooked into the frame and rocked the vehicle onto its side. First time I saw one, in a picture, my first thought was "Now that's a mess waiting to happen."

I don't think I ever saw any identification on any of them that I have here in different sizes. I know that is not a Ford jack as the handle was built in on them. I think one that I have, larger one came from a railroad if I remember correctly. And I still use mine once in a while. Hard to find correct size steel to make the handles. I believe yours is a smaller model.

Still have two that Dad had when I was a kid . Pinched my fingers on one when I was about 8 yrs. old , learned not to do that again ! Remember it like it was yesterday .

I found mine under the seat of a 1941 Ford ton and a half that I restored about 20 years ago. Sold truck, kept jack.
