Hello,

I wish! This thing is a way to go. I may not have enough money for awhile though HA! HA!

She needs higher heels or a step stool just to reach the door handle. I hope that they have a fold-down ladder to get in and out of that rig.

I can tell you, that is not for old people like me!

Local Ford dealer has a yellow Tonka truck on the lot. Been there awhile too. I see it is "on sale" now at $ 65,000 !!!!! Prices are sure out of control.

Hello Dick2,

More like an elevator! It is sure a tall one.
I think it is a class 8 truck chassis it is built on,

Guido.

Hello Mike M,

A friend bought a F350 4 door 4WD last year as a left over. That was 50K! You need deep pocket now days for sure .......

Guido.

My next "new" pickup will be something that was built before emmisions standards and computer chips. Even if I have to rebuild it from the ground up.

Hello rustyfarmall,

That is nice if you can do it. I would like to do the same. My engine of choice would be a diesel. No electronics 100% mechanical. Do a 100% restoration would the ticket,

Guido.

I've been toying with looking for a early 50's Chevy truck. Blue
Flame 6 cylinder, and 4 on the floor (granny gear).

My now truck is a 2002 Silverado and I don't understand
anything under the hood, except the dipsticks :)

Contractor friend of mine just bought a new pick-up. 3500HD 4x4 Silverado. Single rear wheel, extended cab, 8' box, Duramax/Allison, all the bells & whistles. Paid $70,000 for it. Nice truck, But Not That Nice! I said NO WAY would I pay $70,000 for a pick-up.

She is real nice too shiny for me all those bells and whistles just not my type, but I wouldn't mind having the truck

After thought ... I bet a guy er gal could get that REALLY stuck!

I like it being a 6 door truck so its ether 8 or 9 passenger truck plus a long box but too tall for me!

We have a 2004 GMC Sierra. Keep putting it back together again; just did 4 brake lines as a few weeks ago, I coasted through a red light. Stops alot better now! I will keep her until it doesn't make since to keep her. 160000 and counting. Good old truck!

If the height of the bed rails keeps increasing at the same rate they have they all will look like this soon. All show, no practicality.

I'm happy with my 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 and hope it lives to be my antique truck one day. But sometime I might need a second vehicle to take over day to day driving and that might well be a restored late 70's early 80's something. Diesel VW pickup, Chevy Luv, Ford Courier, as well as their Jap counterparts are all of interest to me. Cars are harder to decide on as I need good gas mileage but I remember fondly a '79 Malibu station wagon and I really wanted the Monte Carlo SS in the early '80s. '60s muscle cars are nice but not practical.

(quoted from post at 11:12:58 12/07/14) Imagine trying to park that thing at a shopping center, or any where else for that matter.
It is so big it can park anywhere it wants to... Like the 500 lb canari
