back blade modification

The back blade wouldn't work on my Case DC unless I took the drawbar off. That was a pain so I decided to modify it a bit. This is the blade before.

I cut out the front bar and moved it behind the pins so it would clear the drawbar.

The welds didn't turn out too good, my helmet was foging up and I couldn't see too good. I think it will hold tho.

Yep, I have the same problem on my VAC and the disc.

If those are your ' bad welds' your good ones must be something to behold

Your welds look good for a foggy helmet, or a good
helmet. I don't want to be too critical, but
usually on farm machinery with pulling and
twisting and vibration I do a 6010 pass first and
then one or two 7018 over the top. Better penetration. Ellis

I've also had problems with fogging.
I wonder if the defogging products for glass/windshields would help?
