We'll see how they work

I went to put my old Sorel boots on last March and the leather uppers pulled loose from the rubber bottoms.
They were only about 25 years old.
So try to find another pair at a reasonable price.
Not!
They are fancyfied now and cost $140.
I think I paid about $40 for the last pair.
So I have been looking all summer and fall.
Even asked here what was a good winter boot to buy. Got some good advice.
Wanted to stick with Sorels because you can pull the liners out to dry them.
Then I remembered I was given a $100 gift certificate at Cabellas for Christmas nearly 2 years ago and never used it.
So I used it and bought these a couple of weeks ago. Had to add $40 out of pocket to get them - about what I paid 25 years ago.
So to keep this tractor related, I'm going to wear them to work on a tractor this morning.
We'll see how it goes.

Around here those are called "Pacs"- don't know why. Don't see them too much because we're more wet than cold, and seldom snow, so usually rubber boots. Muck boots are getting pretty popular- they're insulated (but not as much as yours). Hope they work out for you- they sure look nice, at least.

That is the very same kind and style of boot I found to be the absolute best for keeping my feet warm and dry. Not the same brand, but otherwise the same.
