O.T Az Snow Birds

I never wintered there but several years ago I visited a friend. Not much there, a diner and a couple of stores. Desert type area. Lots of trailer homes. Put Dolan Springs in your search box and go. Look for map and satellite views. Also put in History. You might get the info you're after.

We have been by there, type it into google maps, look at the pictures. When you get to the one of the old trailer house, that's what I remember! I am sure there are some nice areas too. Probably a long ways to any decent shopping or restaurants. We like Apache Junction.

That wasn't you that I saw poking along about 50 mph on #60 last Friday? Traffic usually moves at 65 -70 mph; very few of the snowbirds keep pace with the traffic.

After I left Harbor Freight, I saw a car with MN plates blow right through a red light. I keep a lookout in all directions driving through AJ in the winter.

Why would you want to winter there? It snows up there and gets cold. Or do you want to be close to the Nevada casinos?

If you are looking for a warmer place, find a place between Phoenix and the Border.

buddy of mine winters in benson az. on the south end there of az. he has good weather all winter. we are about 15 deg here now. brrrrrr

Me either.

Late this afternoon I was in a ground blind sitting on a fancy swivel chair with a barrel rest that my wife bought me. I had a 4X4 buck in my sights, waiting for the right time to fire.

The chair fell apart and I went on my butt in the blind. By the time I picked myself up, the deer was gone.
