Kerosene-diesel drip heater.

So at the cabin there is a heater that runs of of kerosene. It drips fuel into a pan and burns inside a big heater to create heat for the cabin. It is only gravity feed and does not have a forced air supply like a homemade used oil burner does. I am building one for another room in the cabin out of a wood burning stove and my question is can I use copper pipe to supply fuel all the way to the fire pan? I know it won't create any where near the heat to melt the line but I am wondering if the line will get burned out after time? I can always change the line if necessary but I don't want to have to do this yearly.

First. a home built heater for a cabin is dangerous.
I don't think I need to explain,why?
If you do go ahead and build it WHY not use a stainless
steel line. Cost may be some more but at least I feel
it to be much safer. Or are you or do you have a degree
in building heating devices? Remember there may be other people living in that cabin or yourself and or
some of your family. JUST my thoughts. Leej.

I would hope that you have plenty of ventilation in there if it is not vented to the outside in some way. Could gas yourself to death.
