Adaptor for respirator cartridge

Years ago I got what seemed like a very good price on a box of ten unopened full face respirators---less than $10 apiece. They are made by Sundstrom of Sweden, and seem to be of extremely high quality. The problem is that they use a single cartridge system which is threaded to NATO specs, or some European standard---I'm not sure. Replacement filter cartridges are prohibitively expensive compared to equivalent products for American made respirators---3M, for instance. Where would I even start looking for threaded adaptors that would get me from the existing thread size to a size that would accommodate the threads of a standard American filter?

Thanks, Stan

I used to get my filters from GRAINGER's.

Been quite awhile, but they carried the Swedish stuff.

Actually I had to make a resperator cartride for an MSA full face. Cartridges were no longer available. I took the threaded part from old cargtirdge and attached it to a newer one. Bubba helped.

Now that's more like the George Marsh I've come to appreciate. Very practical advice. Thanks.

It may seem like I don't have a sense of humor, but you've got to admit, bubba and duct tape are both well past their pull dates for laughs. We're just rustic here, not slow.
