I need to replace the auger flitting for the lower section of the unloading auger for my 1210A JD grain cart.

The tube measures 12-1/2” and the flitting is Right hand and 65” long. the best measurement I can get on the shaft is 3”

The closest thing I have been able to find is a 12” flitting 60” long with an 8” pitch for a 3” shaft.

1) Does anyone know the proper size of flitting for a 1210 A JD cart

2) I need to know if I can get a piece of flitting 65” long since 60” seems to be the standard length.

They will make extra length flighting for you, read through their website and they will explain how to measure diameter, pitch, and shaft size.

I had a wetmoore wagon. I was told it was the same as a 1210A. I took my wagon to the welding shop. He made me a new auger and new flighting.

Go to an industrial conveyor/ material handling distributor or get a copy of the Martin Sprocket catalog. I'm thinking you have a 12" screw and you should be able to get it in lengths up to 12' long with no problem. The catalog will let you figure out what kind of flighting (sectional or helicoid) what material (steel or stainless steel) how heavy of a shaft/tube you want and if you want it hard faced. You might have to buy a 8" section, an extra bushing and trim it to length. You can also buy flights in sections without the tube/shaft and weld them on your existing shaft or a piece of pipe. When I was maintenance supervisor at a rendering plant we'd replace between 500 and 1,000 feet of screw conveyor a year as part of our capital maintenance program.
