Anyone have any recommendation or experience with employment history checks? Looking for a reputable company to go back about 20 years. Funny how things you thought you'd never forget get fuzzy with time!

I assume you're referring to your own employment history. I guess I don't know how a third party is going to do a better job than you can do yourself. Start with the information you have and work from there. Did you really throw away all your tax returns/W-2s, paycheck stubs and other records? Then I'd start by trying to recover those records from the IRS and/or Social Security. Once you've figured out the dates of your most significant jobs you'll probably be able to fill in the gaps from memory.

For what it's worth, most employers aren't very willing to share employment history with anyone other than government agencies. Anybody looking to verify your employment history with former employers will be lucky to get acknowledgement you ever worked for them.
