Faucet shut off

I ran across a sink faucet shut off that is a push-pull deal. I have always used the old styles and now the 1/4 turn shut offs. Do the push-pulls work ok or do I need to replace them while working on the faucets? I don't do good with change some times. Thanks, Tommy

Our vacation home has them, also has CPVC plumbing. I'm still a little leary of both the shutoffs and the pipes, but we've had the place for 12 years now and no problems with them. We do, however, shut off the booster pump when we aren't there, so it's under pressure only a few weeks out of the year.

In my limited experience the push-pulls are a pain to adjust if you want just a trickle. They're great if you want full on or off. TDF

Thanks. I worry because they are right next to the wall. If I start them leaking, it will be a pain to replace them . Tommy
