Have this heavy Powerpack with jumper cables, radio, light and 3 110 plugins to use for camping off the grid.
It is not taking a charge---Is it over??????
Any tips to bring it back to life???

Thanks

A little 'net surfing shows that you are not the first person with a dead "Powerpack 600".

Some folks have gotten them replaced by calling the company or the outfit they bought them from and grumbling.

Others have simply "recycled" them!

I've got three of them. Had to put new batteries in all of them over time. No big deal. All lead-acid batteries go bad over time. They (Powerpack 600s) use a common wheel-chair battery. Last one I bought cost me $70. Great units! Why the heck would anybody get rid of one just because of a dead battery?

Jde I bought this one as you mentioned it to me a few years ago. I didn't have a clue that the battery could be replaced. Thank you very much. Len down at Clare. YOu still up in NE mi.??

I'm in Hawks, Michigan, about 15 miles from Rogers City. I'm here for good, as far as I can tell. All done with NY, although I still own property there.

Powerpack 600 comes apart pretty easy with Philips-head screws. Takes an AGM battery like a Tempest TR-2812 or a UB26-12T. Plenty of places selling them for $70 so don't pay more (like with Interstate getting over $100).

All mine went bad slowly. Were able to hold a charge for less and less time. Finally got so they'd go dead in a day and I finally got new batteries.
