finally found the problem with the frequent crashing of mozilla firefox. netgear router was going on the fritz. replaced the router, no problems now.

That's good to know. I have a netgear router, too. I may have to swap it out.

A'yup. I gotta get a new router too. Went to Wallyworld and looked, must be 15 or 20 choices. When I bought the one I have there was maybe 2 choices! I don't know what to get. Prices from $30-180.00!
