mozilla firefox crashing

anybody having problems with mozilla firefox crashing? mine seems to crash several times a day. i ran virus scans, all is clear.
 
Yes and it is especially bad about that when watching videos on youtube. I have largely switch to Chrome but it has been seizing up when on youtube also. A person would think that google could get their own bowser and video site to work? LOL
 
I had trouble with it several times earlier this morning. Once I finally got on line, I ran a virus scan and all was good, too. Something sure is going on.
 
Me too. I just had a bout with a really nasty case of malware over the weekend and attributed it to that, but I think that's partly a coincidence, as Firefox just released a new version and this one's loaded with bugs. Hopefully they get it straightened around in a couple days, as I'm having troubles viewing videos and even doing simple tasks without getting warnings about scripts not responding and such.
 
I have also been having problems. Thinking about dropping it. Hard to get anything done with system locking up all the time.
 
Yeah, I have. Mine does it when I try to login to my bank account. The security software may be causing it.

No probs with Firefox here. I do use ccleaner every so often. Gets rid of all the junk, cookies, etc that your system stores. Does require getting a new password from my bank if I wipe that cookie and i have to re-log on to my web sites, but it will dump all those records I didn't need anyway freeing up a lot of space. Firefox seems to benefit from a clean computer.
