Push button breaker

I'm looking for a 15 or 20 amp push button on/off breaker. There are thousands of over load breakers, reset only. I want to be able to turn it off as well as on. Much like a lamp switch.

(quoted from post at 15:25:21 10/05/14) I assume you mean 12V? They are common in aircraft. Try looking up "Aircraft Spruce" (it's a large supply company)

No, I should have said 120 volts.

Square D circuit breakers had a toggle switch on them. I don't remember ever having a 120 or 240 volt circuit breaker that couldn't be toggled/switched on and off.

When I worked at the cannery, the old warehouse had and ancient "Pushmatic" panel with push on/push off breakers.

I googled pushmatic, but they don't look like the same thing.

Like these? Pushmatic made them but were
bought out by Siemens/ITE. They still make
new breakers but are kinda spend. If you
were closer I would give you one.

I have Pushmatic in my house, built in 74. I had to replace one, it was pretty expensive.

One of the jobs I had was in a shop where all the lights were controlled by switching the breakers on of off. At the time the building was less than 10 years old. There were a lot of problems with the breakers overheating and tripping out. By always switching them on and off they moved just a bit each time loosening the connections on the buss bars. They may have saved a bit of money on construction but they were surely paying for it later.

What S55 said . All breakers have a toggle. I used to collect Bulldog Push-a-matics . Probably got some around. Coolest breaker ever !

Have you tried a commerical electrical supplier they would be the ones to know if they are available or not and who makes them ?
