echo pb2100 leaf blower revisited

did more checking on this this am, the screen in the muffler was plugged up ( suggested by Guido). Could not see through it at all. Cleaned it with a wire brush and now my $10 leaf blower now runs like a top!! Thanks for the help.

Yup, often 'tis the simple things that are most difficult to find. Two/three years ago my weedeater wouldn't crank, sounded kinda funny too. Found a dirt dauber had decided that would be a good place to build a nest and proceeded to fill the exhaust outlet with mud.

Unless you live in some place where droughts are a problem and fire a fear, toss the screen. That's all it's there for.

Hello wfw,

Next time you need to clean the screen, hold it with a needle nose pliers and light it with cigarette lighter. After the pretty flames subside, the remainder will flake right off!
