Silverado Steering Rack

I was changing the oil in my 01 Silverado 1500,
looked up and saw the steering rack is starting
to leak from the left boot.

What is the most practical solution?

Put in new seals?

Replace it with a rebuilt unit? $180 on Ebay.

Replace it with a rebuilt unit from a specific
rebuilder?

Truck has 250,000 miles but still going strong,
hope to keep it going as long as possible.

Add about a half a cup of brake fluid to the p/s oil. It will soften and rejuvenate the seal that is starting to leak. Did that with a few of them over the years. Lasts for years.

You could try Lucas power steering stop leak and if that doesn't work replace it with a rebuilt or new.

Unless it is pouring oil out, I wouldn't worry about it. Do not put brake fluid in it, I have seen the disaster that causes.
