Smart phone question

I just got a new Samsung cell phone running on Android and the auto spell feature on it is driving me nuts. I can't do a Google search using abbreviations without auto spell correcting it and changing the abbreviations to a word it thinks should be. Is there a way to disable this feature? I've been rummaging around in settings but haven't come up with anything yet. The instruction book is a little fold out thing that just gives basic instructions. Oh yes, I use it to order tractor parts.

Got it! Thanks. Android keyboard in the Instructions was called Samsung keyboard on the phone but the rest was right on. Thanks again. Jim
