We put up a 40X60 ft. arch building in 1984 ( Miracle Span) it has been a good building. I used their sliding doors on one end and built my owen end on other end of building useing roll up overhead doors on other end. I like becaose theres no place for birds to set if they get in.

Pricing on them is awful high lately. Can't touch tarp buildings or pole barns.

Bad history of them falling down here from snow load. 4 out 5 I know of along our road have collapsed in last 5 years. One guy got a row of posts in the center to prop it up but they can't be removed now. They got it partly jacked back out but its kinked and won't stay.

Other 3 were cleaned up by excavator come spring time.

We have a good number of them around here (all over 30years old) and have never seen one of them come down in a heavy snow and we had several feet of snow on it. When we bought this one there was a company ( Big Brute) that built one that had a seam down the middle of building and they were known for not being as strong (this building has staggered seams).

Thats somebody not useing their head . Took us over a month to get ours up and we had several bad storms come through while putting it up. Every night or during day I had four antique tractor one on each corner and bolted angle irons to inside of building and chains run down to drawbars of tractors with a binders . I set up one night and watched during a bad storm that did damage to trees but building never moved an inch.

(quoted from post at 21:59:29 09/12/14) Wonder if this might this be a spam advertising post for this company?
I see the original post has been poofed. My comment doesn't refer to any of the posts still showing.

I did the same thing, I tied the building to a couple of tractors on the west end. We started on Memorial day and finished on the 4th of July. 40X60X16, the next one will be a pole building.
