Blades for Lilliston Bush Hog.

I"m looking for blades for my Lilliston 5200 bush hog. They were bought out by Bush Hog along time ago. Bush mower was made sometime in the 60"s. Hate to junk it as only use about 8 hours a year. Thanks for any help.

I know a man with the same problem. No blades available, so he welded up his old blades.

Before welding, I would look everywhere for new ones. Then I would go to ehow or Utube to see if anyone has tried it.

I would weld with a mig. Do little welds at a time with a copper heat sink to help losing the temper from blades.

Most tractor and implement dealers (not TSC) have blade catalogues with dimensions.

Usually, you can find a match if you have an old blade.

Had a set made up for my Schultz hog. Local blacksmith made them up out of metal that work hardens. Almost impossible to sharpen.

I"m not familiar with the 5200 model but for the 7six model you can still get blades from bushhog being bushhog used the same setup on a model of there design.
