Weed wacker cultivator attachment

A little while back I asked some questions about the things and got some straightforward answers. So I bought one of the attachments. Once you get the hang of oprerating it it works pretty good. The first few times I used it, it was almost as much work as doing it by hand, but the more I use it, the better I like it. A side to side motion works well and if you hit a well rooted weed dragging it backwards over the roots a second time will tear them up pretty good. In the long run, once you get the hang of using it, I think it is less work than a hand cultivator.
Biggest surprise was that the cultivator attachment cost as much as the weed wacker itself.

The wacker head uses one piece of the sting that slides in and strings both sides at once. It's a simple matter to change. Works quite well for a cheapo Murry so far.

Thanks for the info guys.

Hey Don, we had to make a quick trip past your place last week to see a sick relative. Had a couple questions- The starter shop north of town, are they any good? It's about the same distance for me to one on Potsdam that is slipping and myself and some locals here are looking for a good shop.

2nd- is yours the place right by the U-store it type outfit? I spied a Ollie or 2 and it looked like some sort of celebration last Saturday.

Yup that's where I live. My son was having a graduation party for his niece. My oldest son lives in the big house, I live in the next one, and the son who is farming lives right around the corner on the Cutt Off Rd.

LOL! ya shoulda stopped in and had a pass or two on our redneck water slide! We used an old plastic bunker tarp held down with old tires.

If you are talking about Widricks just north of Lowville past the garbage transfer site, he's as good as they come for starters, alternators, and generators. He rebuilds whatever you have, and also sells rebuilts. Don't know about new starters. You'd have to ask him. He also makes up hydraulic hoses.

Hope your relative is doing well.
