After breaking my right shoulder, I needed a way to pull myself up so I could get out of bed. Hooked a cargo strap to a front leg of the bed frame and ran the cargo strap up over the bed. That worked but hurt my left hand.
Went to Lowes, got an electric cart and found just what I needed in the electrical dept. - a 3/4" pre-formed plastic elbow. On the way to checkout, we met the lady manager of that store, who I have talked to a few times before. She asked about my injuries and my wife said that I may need help to get up out of the cart. Manager is too little; I knew she couldn't help me.
We checked out and my wife said that we were waiting for someone to help me up. Cashier gal was husky and said she could do that. She took my arm and hoisted me up before a young guy came to help us. He walked us out to the car and helped me get back into the car. Nice to know that some people care.
