How do I get inside nut nut off to get carb off cant get a wrench or socket on it any help on this would be very helpful farmall 300

They make off set open end wrenches to get into tight places like that. Or maybe those crow foot type might work. It would be best for a old IH mechanic to answer as they have had to work on then a lot and will know what you need. I know what it is but forgot the name. LOL

The top wrench is a torch and grind to fit

Often referred to as a carburetor wrench (aptly enough), ignition wrench, or just angle wrench. Usually thinner and bent at the end to reach into tight spots. Believe that was what I used the last time I took our 300's carb off but as that's been about 20 years my memory's a bit fuzzy on the details. Attached link is to a "jumbo" set at HF--they should have smaller ones but their website's about as helpful as their employees and won't bring it up for me at the moment, and hopefully this will give the gentleman an idea as to what he may be looking for.

I found them hard to get a wrench on there too, being a toolmaker I machined the the 9/16 hex nut down to 1/2 inch hex, but not the whole height of the nut, left enough at the bottom so had the same bearing width and the 1/2 wrench has more clearance.
