Tool for removing window glazing

I have a bunch of small window panes that need hardened window glazing removed. What do the pros use, or what works.

Heat gun. It's a glorified hair dryer, but safer than a propane torch. The old hard broken up putty pops right off with a little heat.

Maybe you guys work with different window glaze than I have. The old glazing I've had to remove was more like removing mortar. A heat gun would burn the wood away before it would affect the glazing. I use a masonary blade on a circular saw to get the majority of it and chisel out the corners.
