JD GT275 Bagger?

I have an old JD275 lawn tractor. I came with a 30 inch reverse tine tiller and a 48 inch deck. I'm looking for a leaf/grass bagger.

Does anyone know where I can get one?

Don't know why this lawn tractor is the smoothest trim mower I've ever been on one, but I love it. Must be the color. It does have wide bar tires on the back for good traction in the garden. It also has a very small turn radius to get around trees.

I got this tractor because I found out it was a cheap way to get a tractor that would go slow enough to power a tiller. It's easier than you think to remove mower deck, no tools required.

I'm in need of grass clippings for garden and flower beds. I've been using other lawn tractor to bag up clippings and truck them from my other place 23 miles away.

Getting lazy, would like to get a second bagger. Like a bagger over leaf rake.

Already have an ad on craigslist, but no replies. Tractor was only made a short time, 1994-98. Any ideas where I can buy one, or is there a bagger off another lawn tractor that will work?
thanks.

George: You will need the power flow blower for on the deck, the tube back to the bagger, and then the two bag bagger. The one that fits your tractor would also directly fit the following models with the 48 or 54 inch deck:

GT262, 325, 345

You will need the double drive pulley for the right deck spindle and the bracket that goes under the chute opening for the blower to slide into.

The blower will fit off of any of the 48 or 54 regular decks. The 48c and the 54C deck takes a different blower.

The two bag bagger/hopper itself is the same for all models with the rectangle chute opening. (later models have a round pipe/chute) The bagger assemble just had different mounting brackets for the different framed mowers.

I have the one that will directly fit your tractor/mower. I use it on a JD 325. I check around an see if any of my dealer friends have the bagger you need.

email me and I can send you pictures too. The bracket is easy to spot if you know what to look for.

I just found one on EBay that will fit your tractor. It has the correct bracket and blower. It was on a 54 inch deck but it will fit yours.
It is in Fayetteville, Tennessee.

I don't remember where you located???

The hard part is the mast/mount for the bagger. Look at the one in this listing. It hooks over the rear hitch plate of your mower and then has a spring loaded pin to hold it on. IF you get the bracket you can use the 7 bushel hopper off of any of that style baggers. The double drive pulley I have several of. The deck shield I never used on mine as they catch grass. So let me know where your located.

JD seller, Thanks for the info.

My location is Terre Haute, In.

How do I determine if I have a 48c deck?
George

JD, I been googling bagger for my old tractor and coming up empty. Locally there some for a 48 inch JD. Do you think this one may work? Is the box like device, is that the blower you are talking about?

JD bagger

George You will NOT have a JD 48C deck. That deck has a much wider/longer discharge chute. Your deck is a straight 48 new style deck. Meaning JD has two 48 model decks. The older deck would have been on the older 300 series and does not have grease able deck spindles.

The 48C deck is much newer than your tractor. I don't like them as well. They have more under deck clearance but they do not have the suction that the 48 deck like yours does.

If your talking about the one for $90 at Jasonville. It is not even close to what you need. I am looking at Terre Haute and Indy Craig's list right now to see if any of them match.

George this is a picture of the blower you need.

I am a new guy with the same problem, can you tell me on what site i can find the parts i need to attach the power flow, It seems like all I need is the bracket with a 3/4" steel bar coming off the chute on the deck, and the double wheel pully. I have a gt275 with a 48" deck and just bought a power flow that was on another gt275 with a 48" deck. The tractor I pulled it off of already had the bracket with the 3/4" bar and the double pully, my deck doesn't have either, can you help???
