It's been rainning alot

it's been raining lot. My wife bought a small shop vac. I want to drill a hole in the side so when we pickup water we just take it to floor drain and empty without taking the top off. My question is what would I use. A bolt would pull thru the plastic because it isn't very thick. Any ideas?

I bought a large craftsman with a place already for drain.. but I put a hose shut-off so I could turn it on and off at will and not having to remove or replace anything during the drain process.. I dont think you would want much little than 1/2 or it would take forever to drain.. Also funny thing we had to use it this one time and had tons of rain.. to keep up it was easier to tip over and dump then wait on the hose end.. although Ive learned that I can run a small hose from vac to drain which worked pretty well.. good luck
