Hello,

For those who were following, here is what the system looks like now. New switch and just enough air to keep it working. Will post back when the new tank is installed. The white snake/piping is for the sprinkler system. We may reroute it as well. Buy, it may not be necessary with the new tank though,

I just bought a new well tank too, but I have to install it, with a friend of mine who is a plumber. I have to get some parts first.

Hello wile E,

The guy I am helping just got a new tank as well.
The plumber that will put it in recommended the size and make. He also ordered all the fittings with it. Hope will do a good job!
What size tank did you get?

Sprinkler systems a be tricky.

PLUS..........most HOMEOWNER INSURANCE COMPANIES do not recognize any savings for the potentenial flood that can happen.

I like that little 1/8 in copper line that will someday be hooked up to the "humidifier" on the furnace. Manual petcock enough for oil burner backfire.

Hello wile E,

The owner, not me, opted for the bigger size. The old 20 gallon was working, may be with a 5 gallons draw down, but the cycling was constant. The new tank will have a draw down of 19.2 gallons at 30/50 Lbs. pressure switch settings. It will draw down 16.6 Gallons at 40/60 Lbs. pressure settings,

Hello John, PA,

Here is a news flash for you. People that install sprinklers usually are NOT a plumber. They are Not electricians either. They don't know what a plumbers torch or a killowatt is!. All plastic and glue!
