air compressor problem (leak)

I have a Cambell-Hausfeld air compressor. it has a small black plastic airline running from the main piston output to the control. it is not the main control feed as that comes from a small pipe. the small black pipe is leaking air where it attaches to the control via a grey adapter. you cannot tighten it( i've tried, it just turns and turns). I need to stop the leak. any ideas? the grey adapter is plastic also. would jb weld work on this? thanks for the help.

If it is a push in connecter, remove it cut off a little [just past the marks of the connector] and reconnect. Need to do is a lot on our trucks and other air lines.
