I get all my windmill and pump parts from Deanbennett.com. If they don't have it they don't make it. Good people, prices and shipping is fast.

Been a while since I used one but I remember an accident involving a hand pump that happened at least 60 years ago. Neighnor's brother-in-law was living with the neighbor during cotton harvest. Fellow was about 5'4", wore a 5" brim western hat,moved fast and according to him,could whip a bear and bob cat with one arm tied behind his back. He pumped a quick bucket of water,released the handle and reached for the bucket. WACK,the handle hit him and knocked him out cold. He had a bruised face and recieved a lot of ribbing over being whipped by a pitcher pump.
Why did some of those old pumps kick while others didn't?

Believe it or not amazon has all that stuff. I just restored one last year. I ended up getting all my parts from a local plumbing supply store but amazon does have it. I wasnt able to find much information online or youtube or anything. But my father in law was able to help and we got it done. It looks good and works perfect.
