Needed one with longer than usual reach for working on a motorcycle, came up with this. Works slick!

Total investment: about 50¢ worth of electricity for the welder. Clamp came from the <strike>dump</strike> transfer station, a piece of 1" square tubing for the stirrup and a washer for the bottom.

That's all a Harley -Davidson one is. Just like what you made but no washer.

I used and old socket and cut one side out. But yours is definately a better design than mine.

i fabricated this one already 30 years ago.
I borrow the screw from a F clamp when i need to do a valve job.
I never had a valve i could not reach or undo the keepers.
