Why do cats jump in your way. I was coming into the feed store this morning.Carrying breakfast for the guys.Got close to the office door cat jumps me trips me up. Then looks at me like it is my fault. May just be a dead cat soon.

every )(#$*# morning - I wait with my daughter for her bus, the cat comes with us (no choice, he's always already outside).

She gets on the bus, I TRY to walk back down the road to the house, but that cat will not have it.

He HAS to be in front of me, walking about .025 mph slower than I CAN walk.

I zig left, he zigs left, I zag right, he zags right - back and forth the whole way home - always in front of me.

Drives me nuts.

Carry a walking stick, a pit of a prod with it and I would think he would change his ways.

My cat looks over his shoulder when I have my boots on. I do not let him ponder to long at the door.

I had that problem with my shop cat "Whitey". The problem eventually went away. I think accidently stepping on him one time too many cured him. My wife says I care more about the cat than her so it was accidently.

I kick mine every time I carry groceries in, but they only seemed to learn to stay an extra half step ahead of me.

It's hardly surprising you are invisible to your cat. You exist, from the cat's point of view, only because your opposable thumbs can be used to open a can of tuna. Were it not for that, you would not exist at all.

That is the way he treats me. I am only useful to feed and pet him.

Ask anyone who has ever been around cats and they can easily tell you the answer.....The answer I am talking about is very simple, "Cats rule the world".

Like I said, the owner, or whomever, that knows the cat will tell you that for sure. Whet her that's the way they really think or not (ie- the feel they are in charge and the cat is just a pet with an attitude) is of no consequence because if you could ask the cat itself, it would tell you exactly the same thing....and laugh at the fact you didn't already know it.....LOL

He sure rules the warehouse. No other animals allowed. May just have to drop him a doughnut and then help him out to the front loading dock. Is it legal to kick (I mean help) a cat out with your foot.

"Is it legal to kick (I mean help) a cat out with your foot? "

I'd say it's not only legal but should be encouraged.
