Anybody have this problem?

I have a Kohler 28HP EFI, it has an oil cooler, with 2 lines, and a remote drain hose, all of which are clamped on, with worm drive hose clamps. And they all loosen up and leak, generally about 2-3 times a season. Is there a better hose clamp, for this size hose?
Just getting tired of policing motor oil leaks, to see which line is leaking, this time...

I have heard that the spring type, either the wire or band, are supposed to hold constant tension and not loosen up and leak as bad. It is important to have the right tool to install and remove them so they don"t get sprung. Maybe they are worth a try?

I work in a small engine shop. We see that a lot on those engines. Have you tried adding an extra clamp beside the existing one at each end? That seems to help sometimes.

Kohler uses a special hose in an effort to combat the problem. It is not 3/8" fuel hose. And the clamps they supplied in the last kit I put on are as good or better than the chinese wonders you get at Auto Supply.

The problem is the hose material tends to creep out from under the clamp, then it begins to ooze. And the heat/cool cycles the hose undergos doesn't help either.

NO. spring clamps can"t take the heat and pressure cycles. GOOD american clamps not the import junk. As another reply said about the hose. You may need to check a hydraulic hose place. Oil can raise h...l with hoses and heat.

Look for Breeze hose clamps, best on the market and as of a few years ago there were american made. I believe they still are today. My uncle works for the company that produces them

Got her fixed this mornin, tried FI clamps, yesterday, hose is just too big for the ones the local (good) auto parts place had. I got some good quality American worm type screw clamps, that a magnet would stick to the screw, and put 2 on the drain hose. Put the oil back in, still gonna watch for leaks.
