I have heard that there is. A brand of hog poison that is supposed to come out next year. It will kill hogs but not hurt any other animals. Has anybody heard of anything.

Its a salt that was used in pork preservation! How ironic! I still want a ride in a chopper killing hogs with an AR.

Used to be a warning label on the box of clay pigeons about them being toxic to hogs. Wonder if they really will eat them and if it really effects them ?

Very good article on the hogs. Wow I did not know they were getting that bad. Sounds like my area were the squirrels got really bad one summer. Me and the neighbor kid shot something like 83 of them on just the three or four lots of our properties. Is it not a laugh that the STATE is going to allow hunters to hunt them ???? Oh gag me with a spoon! This is something like Austrailia years ago with the rabbits. Some body found that virus that would kill them and you had the idiot huggers trying to say it was cruel and such. The ranchers would find dead rabbits and throw them in a blender to made a paste and then they would put in food pellets and such. took care of the rabbits. NOW they need to take out the cane toads. You have to put the toads to sleep by freezing them so they feel no pain!?"? I hate idiots. My rant

In my part of Texas. We see them in herds of 30+ all the time. Shoot on site is the order around here.
