Update on Ford v-6 intake (pics)

Hey folks.

This is an update on the repair on a Ford v-6 that had corrosion damage around the water jacket.

I sandblasted the area and then applied marine JB weld.

After it cured I filed it flat and it came out real nice.

I joined the heads of 2 3/8" bolts in 1991 and stored it in salt water to see if it will hold. Still working. I used regular JB tho.

Looks good ,it will hold ! J-B weld has it uses for sure.
