Concrete patio

Thinking of a 12 x 12' concrete patio in the backyard and am wondering what the price range would be to have one of these put in? I'm too old to do the work myself, unfortunately.

Lots of contractors around here charge 2- 2 1/2 times the price of concrete. Pad that size with a deeper perimeter would take about 2 yards.

There's no way to accurately answer your question without having a lot more info.
Is there any existing concrete that would have to be removed?
Will the grade have to be cut down?
Will fill have to be added?
What's the minimum charge from the supplier? (my supplier went from a 3 yard minimum to a 5 yard minimum a couple years ago).
What type of reinforcement will be used?
How thick does the pad have to be?
What type of finish?....troweled, broomed, stamped?

A year ago I had a 20 ft. X 20 ft. Garage floor poured 6 in. thick with 3/8 in. re-bar reinforcement spaced every 12 in. and put on a packed gravel base. The floor was lightly broomed and the edges were finish troweled. Job took 2 days and TOTAL COST was $1500. .

Hope this helps.

20 X20 X 6", with rebar would equal about $1200 including tax. That doesn't count the stone or the labor or the cost of the permit.
