Thanks Billy. A couple of weeks ago a gas station up the road got their a s s busted cause they were selling 15% gas and the pump is marked 10%. My neighbor got some of that stuff in his pickup and it ran like crap till he topped off the tank with Hi-Test. I think the state fined them or something.

I had a guy bring me some ethanol free gas. Just for fun. I put a section of fuel line in it. Then a section of fuel line in some 10% ethanol gas.Overnight the line in the 10% was getting hard. A day later it was hard as a brick. The line in the free gas was still pliable.

Ethanol does destroy equipment

Yep I bought 30% ethanol for my 2008 Lincoln Nav. Best mileage it ever gave me run it in everything I own But one nice thing to each his own Buy what ever you want

I don't know, this blasted stuff has been around for what...six or seven years now and nobody can get a handle on it???? All I know is I have seen some real damage in small engines and carbs. Started up a McCulloch 610 I had repaired three years ago cause I needed a saw with a short bar. Has a 16" on it. I run all of these engines dry when I put them away. Filled the tank with mix and cheated with a tiny splash of gas down the carb. Second pull it was runnit a little and she kept right on running. Everything for almost the past three years has had Startron in the fuel. IT IS GREAT STUFF. Jeffcat
