Well I took my 1960 model Kay guitar to Lloyd's Guitar Shop in Green Bay this afternoon. He's gonn hopefully get the three pickups working, true up the neck a bit, put on a new set of strings, and a couple strap buttons. Lloyd's fair, but I'm sure I'll have more into it than it's worth. Oh well, sometimes you gotta spend a little $$.

SMART MOVE, I did similar with my somewhat vintage ODE 5 String Banjo, took it to a professional (NOT Billy Bob and Bubba types lol) who knew what they were doing and it made a world of difference....

Poor Billy Bob and Bubba, I kinda feel sorry for them. Always catching the flak. lol Of course if you want to know how to golf, go to Bubba Watson. gobble

Yeppers, Golf is a sport where Bubba has indeed lots of smarts lol. Its usually Electrical or Legal questions that draw all the Bubbas crawling out of the woodwork, and all are "experts" lol

Have a good one

If spending more on parts than it's worth was a big issue , our hobby would be non existent ! Right guys ??

John T. I have to have a little fun with you. I am a licensed Master Electrician. But while I was growing up my nick name was you guessed it. Bubba
Thought you get a kick out of that. Dave F.

I hear that, in the south its an often used name and I don't mean anything bad, hey I'm from deep southern Indiana and pretty country and for sure a Redneck myself and proud of it. It just has that "ring" to it when referring to Billy Bob and his know it all brother in law Bubba when shooting the breeze around here...We ALL know the type I betcha lol
