Finally a warm weekend and some time. It's been sitting, waiting, since January. New battery and put water in the radiator. It started right up and sounded good. Let it run for a while and checked the lift and hydraulics. Lift and PTO works like they should (sigh of relief).
Seemed like the cooling system only took about 3 1/2 gallons, should be 5, and it stayed full. It's supposed to get cold again Tuesday so I drained it. About 3 gallons from the lower hose but nothing from the block drain. Same as I got back in January and the wet, black sludge. The hoses to the H-P were warm. Seems like no coolant to the back end of the block. Anybody have any ideas? There is a plug below the regulator at the same level as the draincock. Does it also a block drain?
