CNC Card Reader Followup

Sorry for the delay getting back with everyone. Had to wait for the job to finish that was running on the machine.

Don-Wi: Donald, you hit it right on the money! Opened the back and there was the card reader slot... Put a program in this morning, worked great.

What a strange place for it! Now I want to find a way to plug in an extender cord and get it where they can access it without opening the back doors.

Glad I could help. As soon as you said KIA w/ Fanuc I kinda figured. I run a Takumi VMC w/ Fanuc controller at work (40 x 70 x 30 work envelope, 50 taper) and it's got the same deal. Never gets used because we all load off the RS 232 port with Predator software. The other guys never knew it was inside the cabinet, but then becasue I knew of the Kia lathe at a former shop I looked and sure enough it's there, inside the cabinet.
