O/T Question for Michigan Guys

So I watch the show on Dr. Pol the vet from Weidman Mich. I was wondering if the show does an accurate job of portraying this vet. I like the show, was just curious.

Dr. Pol is not our vet, though I met him and his family at a social event a little over a year ago. Our two original vets also had interned at his practice in the early 90s.

He and his family were friendly and easy to talk to, very accommodating of questions about their practice and TV show. My vets have indicated that working with Dr. Pol was pretty much as you see on TV... what you see is what you get.

Note that son Charles is the originator of the show. He is/was in the business in California and came up with the concept and pitched it around to contacts in LA and several different cable networks. It took a while before someone picked it up... NetGeo Wild.

Have had a contact or two with him... Seems like the typical old time country vet. Seemed like a nice guy. Unfortunately, don't have access to the tv program. And we apparently will be in an upcoming segment, when he castrates three llamas - the brown one being ours.
