My roll around tool box is overloaded with C-clamps. Anyone have an idea how best to store or hang a lot of C-Clamps ?? Pictures please.

Mine hang on a shelf above the work bench. Must be about 50 of them ranging from 1" to 10" they are out of the way but near when needed.

1" dowels or metal pipe or rods if you are a metal person. You can hang each throat size on a different dowel and then they are right there when you need them.

I have a work bench with 1 1/2" back board that I hang wrenches on and hook the C clamps over the top of plank back board.

I have several 12" long 1/2" bolts double nutted to the legs on a shelf by my vise & welding table. I hang the clamps open side up with the handle toward me. They are handy and easy to get the one I want. I also hang my Visegrip C clamps on another bolt. There is another bolt on the other side of the shelf where I hang my grease guns by the handle.

I have a bar bolted to the rollaway for the big ones.

I have a lot of C-Clamps, not to mention quite a few bar clamps. It takes a lot of clamps to build a lapstrake canoe. I hang mine on my on my sawhorses. My homemade sawhorses have horizontal braces that work perfect to store the clamps. They're right at hand when I need them, they add stability to the sawhorses, and they don't take up any room other than that already required to stack the horses.

I have a few boxes made from 2x4's with a plywood bottom
attached to the wall between studs.
handy place for old bolts I might need in the future.
C-clamps get hooked over the front edge 2x4.

I've got an old wooden ladder hanging sideways between posts in my pole barn.. I'll never use it so, I've got about 30 c-clamps slipped over the bottom upright.. Works good.. The ladder is in great shape but 30 years ago when I hung it up , I almost strained my milk..

I keep my clamps in a grocery cart, different ones top or bottom or hanging on the sides.I can wheel it to where I'm working in my shop.
