Anyone have a 1 inch crown air stapler they want to sell reasonable? Floor rotted out on camping trailer and I think large staples would work well

You might try Pawn Shops. They are always trading air guns. But don't buy one if you can't take it in the back and try it out. Not worth 10% of new price if every O ring leaks.
Another approach, buy new at Lowe's, use it over the weekend, take it back. Their policy hasn't changed, will still take it back as long as you have receipt. Yeah, I know its not being straight up about it. But they set those rules.

Really? And we wonder whats wrong with our country

Something that dishonest would never even occur to most of us. If I buy it, I own it. If I were to return it, it would only be in NEW, saleable condition as I received it. Otherwise would be dishonest.

How was the floor originally fastened? If they used screws you should use screws when you make the repairs.

If they used staples shoot me an email. I have what you're looking for.

I concur.

mother in law works for Lowes. Says Evvvverrrryyybody does the buy, use, return thing.

It's constant.

That's our society - try to treat the customer well with a nice simple no-hassle return policy - everybody takes full advantage of it till they make the company bleed. (And then have to pass the costs on to the rest of us)

Yep It would either be unused or defective for me to return it.
Theft by any other name is still theft.

Regarding "take it back to Lowes" -- just because something is legal doesn't make it ethical. Shame on anyone who does such things, condones such things or suggests such things.

Looks like I opened a can of worms re the suggestion from someone to buy at Lowes, do my job and then return it. I was really surprised to get that suggestion from someone on this forum! So much for the good old boys. Glad at times, that I'm 75 years old and won't be around when this great country goes completely to hell. I ended up buying a Senco SPS stapler at a pawn shop for $80.00. Felt good about that but did end up having to buy 10000 staples. I doubt I'll use a 1000... Thanks to all for the help! EGBinOR

As long as we keep the I've got mine everyone can go to heck in a very minor number. But they do seem to be growing.

Btw apologies. IN my first post I assumed you were trying to refasten rotten chipboard.
