zap 800 garage door opener

anybody using one?
bought used one off of Ebay and belt is slipping
believe I need to change pulleys to make it a D model instead of a B model
found a dealer with the parts, he wants $150
just trying to make sure this is the right thing to do

I just bought another Craftsman from Sears chain drive. The last one was good for 23 years. The belt driven was more money. I asked the sales lady which one she liked best and said the chain driven. This is the third Sears in 45 years. Hal
PS: Cost was $227.00 installed. It's a 1/2hp motor and lifts a 16 foot door. I think all 3 were 1/2 hp.

this is used on a comercial door

Maybe you need more spring tension to counterbalance the weight of door. Can you lift it manually? Is there a slotted adjustment to tighten the belt or apply belt dressing? Just throwing ideas around.
