picked this up the other day from the mac guy. taskconnect scanner. pretty nice little unit. has auto i.d for the vehicle, reads and clears codes, does run data, and has a hot button to give the top problems and repairs for trouble codes specific to the vehicle. also....has free software updates!! woo-hoo!! has domestic and asian data. about 400 dollars out the door. not a bad deal. i have a snap on modis, that one set me back about 10k at the time of purchase, and the software is about 1100 per year for updates. i have domestic, asian, european, and medium and heavy duty truck data on that one. this mac one is pretty affordable for most weekend warriors. also has a component locator on it. heres a pic

I snagged a Solus snap on earlier this year . It's not the newest but it will do all that i have , until the girls get something newer then 09 . I put off getting one for a long time . But i was getting tired of being lied to . So now i can do my own . The one i got is a 9.2 version
