Reddy Heater problem

Last spring, I acquired a Reddy Heater model M100D torpedo heater. Now that the weather has gotten colder, I want to use it to help heat my little garage that I use for a repair shop.
So, I fueled it up and plugged it in and it did NOTHING. So, I took the cover off to find that the reset button and circuit breaker was falling apart. I then examined the schematic that was conveniently on the inside of the top cover. It was apparent that I could bypass this piece to at least see if the rest of the heater was functional. Lo and Behold!!! It came right on and worked perfectly!
Now for the problem......
After spending 2 hours doing searches, I have so far not been able to find a parts breakdown diagram. I also have been unable to find a listing for the reset switch. Everything that I have found points to the safety module - which appears to work properly.
I would be very appreciative if somebody could recommend a decent online store or even a place to find the parts listing.

Desa international filed bankruptcy in December 2008 and is no longer in business.

http://www.desatech.com/ is an information site for products manufactured by Desa prior to 2009. This site has owner’s manuals and tech tips that were written by Desa prior to their bankruptcy. You can also find links to purchase parts for Desa product.

www.reddyparts.com is a source of parts for heaters manufactured in the US by Desa International, and also has valuable troubleshooting and servicing information, parts lists for all models, and necessary tools such as the low pressure air gauge for setting the air pressure from the pump (heater will not work properly if the air pressure is not correct).

I actually have several of this type of heater. I have a Knipco, a John Deere, and 2 Reddys besides this one. All but this one are labeled as having been manufactured by DESA. This one shows something different, but I don't have it near me to take a look. Hopefully the link you provided will help out. Thenk you!
 
Took a look at the listing. It shows most of the major parts by name and number BUT.....
In most of these heaters, the reset button is part of the safety/flameout module, and has 5 wires going to it. On this heater, is is a separate piece with only 3 wires. One from the power, one to the heater main power, and a third wire from the safety module. This piece is literally falling apart. Hopefully I can get this part somehow without having to buy a safety module.
 
Hmmm. Just saw a brand spankin new Reddy Heater in the hardware store window this morning. Has the same "Desatech dot com" on the label/sticker.
Doubt that this particular unit is over 5 years old, no traces of dust from sitting around that long.

DESATECH? Thats not the original company, They were DESA International. No tech in the name. You can bet the heater you saw was not US made and I bet you won't get parts for it years later either.
 
DesaTech is a third party that acquired most of the tech reference materials and parts lists and such, and has it posted on the web. They actually link to other web sites for parts. I think they did it more as a public service than anything.

After looking thru the DesaTech web site, it appears they may be marketing some heating products, or at least allowing their name to be put on them.
