Craigslist question

When filling out the search box,(example calf) that is saved. when you go back and type 1st letter(c) then all that started with (c) will be in a drop down. This is nice till several months you have a long list in that drop down. How do I delete some or all of them. I have tried the auto fill in the browser but that doesn't effect craigslist.

I don't know about Craig's List, but for Google you just highlight the entry and hit the delete key on your keyboard. You could try that for Craig's List.

Beside each search term that you have used the word REMOVE appears in blue,just click on REMOVE instead of the search term.

That's what I thought, too, but before posting that advice last night, I went on Craigslist to check. It turns out that the the word Remove is beside only the top word on the list. When you click on it, it removes the top word and itself. You then have to go back to what you were typing in the Search box, delete it manually, and begin typing the next word on the list. Type a few letters, the list drops down again with Remove beside the top word. Repeat. It was slow enough to make me decide to put up with the list.

I also tried deleting the highlighted word on the drop down list. It doesn't delete. When I clicked on a different word on the list to see if I could delete it, it didn't delete, either, but clicking on it put it up in the search box. Then it had to be deleted from there.

It used to work like that for Craig's List too, but something has changed recently. Now it's a pain to fool with deleting past search subjects.

So apparently it can't happen without doing it 1 at a time. I tried that and is is easier just to ignore the auto fill and act like it ain't even there, at least for me.

Have you cleared your browser history and cache recently? If not,

Is there any way to delete items from your own list that you have sold. This is the list that you have to log in to.
