Can any of you gun guys give me an idea what a model 37 featherlite 20 gauge in good condition might be worth?

Another question...There is a little place on the end of the barrel, about an 1/8 of an inch sqare where the bluing is gone. Is there an easy way to cover this up?

I would not mess with it, but Walmart carries a cold bluing solution that *might* cover it.

I'd rather buy a gun with honest wear than one that has some bad cold bluing

The Model 37 was made for years and years. Value, to a large extent, depends upon year of mfg, serial no. etc. The "pump grip" part of the stock change over the years. Might have a vent rib, might not. Need a bunch more description to help you. Tom

I took my Dad's Model 12 after he passed away; kept it for years and never used it - so I gave it to his great-grandson who is named after him.

I bought a 12 ga vent rib, fancy wood 37 for 175.00 10 years ago.Cant do that now.Consider this, the money you get will soon be gone and the shot gun will be gone. The way things are going it may be impossible to buy a firearm in the near future.
