I might get around to it!

Might be over three years ago when Lanse dropped off this head with some stuff he didn't want around to thank me for the head I did for him.

I took the valves out and started to check every aspect of it. Never got much farther but decided to check out the surfaces a coupla days ago.

Took a skin off the valve cover side then flopped it over and cleaned up the firing chamber side. .002 almost cleaned it up another two did. Not bad at all. It would have been fine as it was.

Man! I bet they don't measure those in CCs,more like liters.

Dick , didn't he bust off a brass elbow on one of them and then the broken stub got pushed into the oil gallery ? That's why he had a spare head ? Is that the one ?

Dick L.

I've been a reader of YT for a bit of time. I think you've had a significant impact on his life.

thanks,

D.

I lost vision in one eye with glasses like that. You need more eye protection. I would pay 100,000 for the vision I lost thinking eyeglasses were good enough, Somehow a steel splinter found it's way around them to dead center in my pupil.

Probly right but you only get dust from a cast iron head cleaning up the surface. Normally I would be using the CNC with a fluid bath on a head.
