You wouldn't want to do a whole house with it but spraying latex on smaller items does a very nice job.
I taped off my pantry a couple of years ago and used ordinary semi gloss interior latex and shot all the shelves and frames. Then I took the door to the half bath outside and shot it too.
Had to thin it down quite a bit to get it to go through my DeVillbiss automotive gun but was extremely happy with the results. No runs or brush marks. Very nice finish.
The door I painted in the hot sun. Light, thin coats.
Start at one end and by the time you get to the other end you can start over. About 5 coats.
Took maybe 1/2 hour altogether. Quicker than a brush for sure.
